You're an adventurer who wants a clear path on your journey. With a deluxe independent, self-guiding trip, I handle most bookings for you, yet you retain the freedom to explore as you wish. Plus, you get even more of my wizardry — umm... research and how-to knowledge — from wayfinding to banking to restaurants.​

Whether for business or leisure, this is the bare basics: air and/or hotel only. You're willing and able to plan any other arrangements on your own — or perhaps you don't need any.

If you're a DIY-er heading to Japan and want to steer your own (star)ship, this option is for you. We'll have a one-on-one Zoom consultation, where I'll give you tips and advice on where to spend your time, how to get off the beaten track, how to get around, what to eat, customs, etiquette, and more. Bookings not included. $75 per hour. (Other destinations not offered at this time.)

Tenzing: I'm your guide.
This is Dorothy on steroids. A fully custom trip, but you bring me along for wayfinding and guidance all along the way. A great option for solo travelers, groups, or those who would just like some extra help.
My Retainer for Concierge Travel Planning Services
As your adventure designer, I invest thousands of dollars in travel, tools, memberships, training, and certifications to master my skills and build extensive industry connections. My expertise saves you dozens of hours of planning time and stress, while providing you access to exclusive amenities* and unique experiences that you simply can't get on your own. Plus, when things go wrong, I'll have your back.
My retainer is generally $50 to $500 per person, depending on the type of trip, trip length, planning time, and other factors. Regardless of your travel style, you'll get the same top-notch service, planning and support.
